The La Quinta Inn on Paradise Road is a 228-room, Mediterranean-style building with white stucco walls, red-tile roof and black ironwork, all surrounded by tall palm trees and lush landscaping. The lobby, which is a cross between a Swiss chateau and a country farmhouse, features exposed beam ceilings, tile floor, arched windows and leather wing chairs for relaxing. The step-up dining room, which doubles as a reading room or den, features open-beam ceilings, country English wood tables and chairs and a cozy fireplace. The rooms, which are light and airy, are above-average size and include balconies, VCRs, microwaves, refrigerators and whirlpool tubs. The three-story building contains banquet and meeting rooms that will accommodate up to 100 people in each. A 24-hour complimentary shuttle service runs to the airport and to designated stops along The Strip. Pets are welcome here.
Located right on the Strip, a second La Quinta Inn resembles its sister on Paradise Road, only with half the rooms. In late 1998 the hotel chain opened a third 128-room La Quinta Inn near the Hampton Inn in Summerlin.
