Las Vegas Marriott Suites
Located midway between the Las Vegas Convention Center and The Strip, the Marriott Suites were the hotel giant’s first foray into southern Nevada. The 278-room, 17-story tower, completed in 1997, is an all-suite facility. Separate bedrooms and sitting rooms, pragmatically decorated in businesslike greens and mauves, span 650 square feet. Each suite has a refrigerator and coffee maker. Room service is available, and a copy of USA Today is delivered every morning.
The hotel, which caters to corporate travelers, runs a free shuttle to and from the airport and has valet laundry. A well-appointed Business Center on the top floor comes equipped with personal computers, printers, copiers and fax machines. An attendant is on site to assist with the equipment, and the front desk can tell you about any charges that apply. Downstairs, 2,800 square feet of meeting space is available. Overall, the suites are relatively light on recreational amenities, providing just a basic pool and workout room. A restaurant and grill called Alleys serves up basic American fare, but if you’re looking for lounge entertainment or late-night dining, you’ll want to take the two-block walk to The Strip.
