Arrive early, at least 2 hours prior to your flight’s departure to allow enough time to locate a parking space in the McCarran Airport Parking Plaza, and for additional security measures at the ticket counter and security checkpoint, and find the appropriate gate. Please allow approx. 3 hours for international flights.

Call your airline ahead of time and confirm your flight departure time BEFORE coming to the airport.

Bring your photo I.D. to check in. Passengers without a photo ID will not be processed.

Pack smart and tag your bags. Full airplanes mean less overhead space for each passenger.

FAA limits one personal item and one piece of carry-on luggage through the security checkpoints. Personal items may include a purse, bike/fanny pack, laptop, or diaper bag. Baggage items must meet normal airline carry-on requirements and may include: small garment bag, suitcase, or duffel bag. (This is not an all-inclusive list of the items allowed, this is only a guideline.)

ONLY TICKETED PASSENGERS are permitted beyond the security checkpoint. Please see the ticket counter if you have any special needs.
